Zimbabwe's Twin Country...

Ralph Waldo Emerson says, "America is another name of opportunity".

If you read Prof. Abdul Aziz Bari's interview here, then "Malaysia is another name of corruption".

Just try reading TIME and Newsweek and I bet you won't missed the similarities. Really, trust me. But then again, Zimbabwe is only 29 years old. Shouldn't we have grown wiser now that we have turned 52 years old?

Maybe we want to learn a thing or two from Peru as I shared here "Why we are where we are" a couple of month ago.

Fisha,

A very enlightening article but we all know it all too well. Unfortunately, we refers to only a small section of our population but hopefully a growing section.

The article on 'Peru' is an eye-opener too. Learnt something there. More people should read this type of article instead of light, entertainment news. Sigh...

Dear Joshua
Vilfredo Pareto says roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.

Perhaps it is applicable to our burgeoning corruption is attributed by 20% of malaysians that happen to walk along our Corridor of Politics.

Just like Malay idiom that goes "Kerana nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga".

Yes, Joshua. I concur with you that reading should be a learning experience. Sadly, too many read for escapism purposes.
