Destiny

"Anyone who interferes in the destiny of others will never discover his own"

- Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist)

"And the high destiny of the individual is to serve rather than to rule, or to impose himself in any other way"

- Albert Einstein

Reason for these quotes being highlighted here is that some people are getting on my nerves, despite them saying that they have my very best interest in mind.

The quotes are not for them but me. It's unfair to impose something on others when you failed to achieve yours. Please, let me choose.

If what I'm doing is wrong in their eyes, let my destiny be a punishment, instead of merriment.

Liked both Coelho and Einstein's quote.

Didn't know Einstein said that. It is so true what they both says.

Hi Joshua

Indeed, i must agree with both of the gentlemen.

I'm actually surprised because i first wrote this based on recent 'activities' in my personal front, eventually it occurs to me it applies to what is happening to us in this Ibu Pertiwi..

Well, it certainly applies to the happenings in our beloved country.

But a country is not defined by the government it has; it's the people who makes the country what it is. And we are certainly still a group of beautiful people, as far as all whom i know.
