I was looking forward for today - all because of the premiere of "Sayang Sayang", a peranakan baba nyonya drama series on Channel 5. Even to the extent of dorning my kebaya to office. I loved anything about baba and nyonya - the kebaya, the manik slippers, the nyonya kuihs, their cuisines, their dondang sayang, their friendly persona - so perhaps by watching this, i could learn more.
Let me remind myself that I should collect authentic kebaya and baju kurung.
